Helpful Resources
Below are various resources related to manufacturer warranties.
In general, keep these tips in mind:
- Contact the Manufacturer to verify Warranty and put in notes what is covered and for how long i.e. 5-year warranty for parts but only labor for 1 year. Certain parts may be covered for a shorter or longer period of time
- Make sure quotes and parts are included on the email or forward the email
- Ensure you list in the notes in EvoTrakker with whom (manufacturer's rep) you spoke
- Most manufacturers give a warranty work order or case # that needs to be noted and referenced - this is normally given during the first call or in a follow-up email
